The drive is basically designed for indoor use only, as well as for areas that meet similar requirements. The operator may only be installed inside or on the inside of buildings without additional safety measures. The operator has been designed exclusively for the automatic operation of sliding doors.

On the S4000, the yellow LED on the motor unit and/or terminal indicates that a safety check is due.

The testing interval is a maximum of 12 months.

In case of highly frequented passages or sensitive use, this maintenance interval must be shortened

According to DIN EN 18650-2, power-operated windows, doors and gates must be checked for their safe condition by an expert before they are put into operation for the first time and at least once a year.

The assembly work on the door and operator must be completed and the door leaf must be adjusted in height and lateral distances to ensure easy sliding by hand along the entire opening width.


If the door leaf is difficult to move, do not start the setup procedure.

A reference run is triggered for end position detection. During this run, keep body parts away from all moving parts, as the drive is only completely ready for operation after a successful reference run.
A warning signal sounds during the setup process. The door load is displayed with a bar graph or with a % indication on the notebook or smartphone.shows.

The actuator (except for low-energy variants) may only be installed by qualified personnel.
